Preak Crisis: Perak MB; 6 Exco's Suspended!

The ongoing Perak political crisis took another twist when the State Assembly speaker V. Sivakumar suspended the newly appointed Menteri Besar, Zambry Abdul Kadir and all his 6 state excecutive councillors.

Some leading legal counsels had already cautioned of such tactical strategies when the crisis first broke out. The continuing political stalemate over who actually governs the state is surely bad for all Perakians, and can only prolong the current economic gloom hanging over the state. In short, in this case, as someone else has commented - "the winner doesn't take it all".
