Al Islam Update

My Facebook friends have reminded me that although Malaysia has a number of Christian ministers in the Cabinet, none of them has (so far) made a statement of any sort in the press regarding the controversy of the spying job and defilement of the sacred holy communion host by Al-Islam reporters in a Catholic church in Kuala Lumpur recently.

While we wait for the officials, Raja Petra has posted a telling rebuke by a Christian theologian on his Malaysia Today website. The title of the article could have been better worded though. It hardly reflects the tone of its contents.

Meanwhile, the BBC too has picked up on the recent religious rows.

And, K.S. Stanley, one of the two persons to lodge the police report against Al-Islam in Penang has set up a blog specially for regular updates on the issue.
