Farewell to Loga

If it was a blow to first hear of his serious illness yesterday 4/6/07, just hours later came the bomb that Loga, of Penang's beloved Alleycats had passed on. Somehow, Loga's passing reminds me of Maurice Gibb's sudden death in January 2003. Maybe it was the same type of pop ballads, maybe it was their unique vocals, maybe it was just that beneath that "celebrity" status, they managed to stay down to earth, almost always smiling.... Thanks for the memories guys. Loga, a special TRIMA KASIIIIIIIIIIIIIH to you. May your soul rest in peace. Jeff Ooi has compiled a Loga tribute at his Screenshots blog. It's a nice way of remembering one of Penang's favourite sons.
