Jesus Christ Superstar (1973) - Jesus Must Die (3)

I absolutely love the play on the words. They throw up the fact the pharisees and the teachers of the law were clueless how to deal with the "carpenter king"... In the end, they opt to "eliminate" him completely. Aren't we too guilty of this "copping out" whenever the going gets tough, when someone comes along to challenge our own long held beliefs and truths?
