Santa Claus, Samy Toll and Shady Deals

On March 07, 2006, the honourable toll minister promised No Toll Increase This Year.

Well, 9 months later, he decides to play Santa Claus and give all ordinary, already road-taxed, toll-paying, cash-strapped vehicle driving Malaysians a surprise New Year present! A wonderfully packaged toll hike! And we are told NOT to question the rationality, however one-sided the agreements made with the toll operators. And just like naive children, he believes we should all roll over and thank him for his "generousity". Or we could read up more like here
And throw down the gauntlet and pressure those in power to give the facts on those deals.
